Hi, welcome to xczdev’s Road to Open Source!

I’m Xincheng Zhang, a QA and DevOps engineer since 2018. I live in Paris, France.

In February 2026, I wanted to buy a laptop dedicated to Linux. I chose my laptop quickly, and I also chose my Linux distribution: Fedora. That is where my journey into the Linux and open source world began.

This site documents my The Road to Open Source journey. I want to record this path to keep a memory of my growth and, hopefully, help people who come after me.
